RHYTHMS AT THE INTERSECTION OF PEACE AND CONFLICT THE MUSIC OF NONVIOLENT ACTION

In June of 2014, USIP hosted a film screening and discussion panel entitled Rhythms at the Intersection of Peace and Conflict The Music of Nonviolent Action. Freedom Beat showed a 27 minute cut that was compiled by our editor Irene Su from the various Middle East Profile videos we published on our website in 2014. The discussion panel featured Freedom Beat founders Daryn Cambridge & Tim O’KeefeKiosk’s Arash Sobhani, and Maria J. Stephan, a USIP Senior Policy Fellow and the co-author of Why Civil Resistance Works: The Strategic Logic of Nonviolent Conflict.
